FUN Magazine Issue 3 Launch Party
Tomorrow, which is Remembrance Day, we are having a party to celebrate the release of FUN Magazine Issue 3 – The War Issue.
Sick of hearing people whine on and on about Iraq, we were spurred into action. The new issue of FUN features some of the best writers discussing conflict, from Black Confederate soldiers in the American Civil War to a retired Marine who now practices spiritual healing. None of the content is predictable and all of it is of questionable moral value. We got our intern to dress up as a hippy and a soldier, to see which would get hit on more, and asked Prancehall to review some wars that you might not know about. We also found out why our parents are interesting and we are dull.
We’re proud to welcome Jim Goad, editor of the legendary Answer Me! on to our team. Comics, ‘poems’ and our new craft corner also make an appearance. The new FUN is bound for the first time, and beautifully put together, as ever.
Come and get some FREE DRINKS and FREE COPIES of the new issue this Tuesday at the brand new private 3rd floor of The Macbeth. DJs on the night include Philippa Cardinal, Black Rod, DJ Guernsey, G3, Dan Knight and IWillFuckingKillYou playing metal, drone, noise, dark wave and 80s industrial.
